Mike and I trekked to downtown Fort Myers, which other than the big body of water reminds me a lot like downtown Boise, a lot smaller than Boise overall but the nostalgic feel and history is all there. Not to mention a whole lot of great restaurants and awesome bands that play down there on the weekends. It's a bit far from the house but we try to go when ever we can. It's one of our favorite places to hang out on the weekends. This is their rendition of the ball dropping. It was one huge street party with outside booths setup with drinks and a new band playing around every corner. And yes we had a great time...clearly. Please excuse the quality of the pics. These were taken on my iPhone and it was dark.
