Back from Ft. Myers not 4 days and then off to sit in the beautiful southwest sunshine with mom. We have sure been enjoying a week of 75 degrees and sunny days. One thing about all this jetsetting, it makes the Idaho winters seem shorter. It's so nice to break up the gray sky monotony.
Yesterday was Bob's birthday. We had a nice celebration with Terry and Debbe. Mom made her famous Seafood Stuffed Pork Loin. Let me just say, "Wow! It was one of her best!" We also had King Crab Legs, Green Salad, Sweet Potatoes and the Devil's own Dark Chocolate Cake (made by yours truly). All things yum! Cake and wine served on the Ramada on a beautiful evening. I can't think of a finer way to celebrate one's birth. Happy Birthday Bob!
(Sorry no photos as the photographer was cooking again)

It was a real nice birthday celebration and the food was of course the best. It is after all all about the food. One thing about it we sure know how to enjoy the food, and although we don't have an outdoor kitchen we managed very nicely. The weather was great and I'm glad we didn't wait until today because it has turned out nasty. Sorry Dawn didn't make it here for the festivities yesterday, but, I'm sure we will get some good vitals while she is here. Even the leftovers are good.
Hugs and love for all,
The Mom
So glad you guys had a great time. Really sad I missed the pork loin for sure, love that stuff.
I can picture it in my mind just fine. Beautiful, catching up with the family through blogs seems unbelievable to me.I could not picture the things I have not seen before though (or for a very long time)so bring on the pictures you are so famous for. love you all Mikey
