Are we there yet?

So we are getting better about getting up early and getting on the road but for some reason we still can't clock the amount of hours off that we want. We should have made it another 200 miles today but I think the frequent urination stops are really starting to have an affect on the progress. We even decided to postpone breakfast for an hour and a half and just drive to Topeka from Salina.

Today was the day I was most excited about. We were going to see the Gateway to the East today. St. Louis, MO. That's right and let me just tell you I could have produced a diamond with my sphinchter after going through that town. The traffic was horrible and there are freeways going every which direction you could imagine. Not to mention how narrow the lanes were with our big trucks barrelling through there. The view was spectacular once we got to the arch. The Missouri river is huge and the boats and barges were even bigger. We didn't stop for long because there wasn't a place for us to park the trucks, but Morgan was able to snap off some really good pictures from the truck. These will give you an idea, we have more that I will post later in a slideshow when I get time.

Tomorrow come hell or high water we are going to make it to Macon, GA! Wish us luck.

These are fantastic blog posts! I can see in the last photo, Morgan is not the morning person. All other photos she is bright and shiny! Love the ball 'o twine! I'm especially fond of the Town Placards! Thanks for the chuckles, I could use them!

Love you all!
