Every year for years gone by, we have had a pair of ducks use our backyard pond as a mating suite. I've seen her sit on her eggs several times, but have never seen the babies. I think she must move them to the creek out behind the shop during the night. So, this year she nested in the tulips along the foundation in the front yard. They must be close to hatching, she's been there what seems like three or four weeks. I don't know how long their gestation period is.
