A Day With The Girls...

Thursday, July 14, 2011

I took the day off from house cleaning and mowing and took Ady and Rylee to Boise. The first thing we did was go by the bike shop and see if they had a replacement for my bike that was stolen from my garage (who steals a person's bike?). I bought it exactly a year ago to get some more activity in my life, plus I just love to ride. It's like flying. They have one left, still in the box, so they will be putting it together and holding it for me to pick up on Sunday. Thanks to my wonderful husband for offering to replace it for me. He said he knew how much it meant to me and he wanted me to have it. He is just the best life partner! Gosh I'm glad I made him marry me!

So off to McGrath's for lunch with my girls. Clam chowder and Shrimp Louie. It was just right for our next adventure. We headed off for a nice hike in the Boise Foothills. I'd never been up on the trails, so Chuck printed me off a huge map of the Ridge to Rivers System. It was a beautiful day for a hike in the woods. I think we will make a habit of it.

So we headed home after our hike to pamper ourselves with mani/pedis on the patio. Mom would have been proud. That was one of her favorite things to do. The girls are getting beautiful for Ady's Birthday Party tomorrow. Her birthday is Monday, but we're gonna rock it tomorrow!
