On the road again

Mike and I decided that Saturday we would do the Vanderbilt loop ride, which just so happens to be my favorite ride, but this time we added a few more miles to it and ended up doing 115 minutes of riding over 22 miles. The landscaping in Naples is absolutely breath taking and the architecture is to behold. Not to mention this ride takes us to Big Al’s where we like to watch football and have lunch together. I am in the process of purchasing a new bike for all of these adventures that we are planning together. In addition I had been recording our rides with an application for my iPhone call iMapMyRide, but for some reason I have been having issues with it and it didn’t save this last ride through Naples. So I have purchased a new application call CycleMeter, which basically does all the same things as the other application and hopefully saves my rides as well!!

This weekend is our last ride on the Vanderbilt loop till the 21st of November based on the kid rotation schedule then its back on. In the meantime we are searching for new loops and routes to discover and add to our list. And waiting patiently for my new bike!!

Thanks, great post. Can't wait to take the loop! You do know Fisher bikes are for mountain biking mostly, right? He was one of the original mountain bikers.

I know, we do riding in the preserve too which calls for something a little more hearty than just a street bike and we are expanding our horizons; road trip!!
