Probably one of the greatest things about living in Florida is that we have access to a ton of pro teams. Not to mention that Florida is a great place for northern teams to practice in the spring season. The Minnesota Twins have a training facility down here called Hammond field where they practice spring training. Fort Myers has a local AAA club like the Hawks called Fort Myers Miracle. I went to a game a couple of weeks ago and let me tell you how much fun I had. I am pretty sure I am going to make this a permanent activity. Hey batter batter, swing!!
