Weenie Bite

Slow race

So I got invited to hang out at the Country Store this weekend to witness a true back woods biker rally. So let me back up a bit here...My best friend Heather lives out in the woods. She lives off Corkscrew road exactly 10 miles east from the highway. Her and her husband Todd own 5 acres in the middle of what seems like nowhere actually. She has a few neighbors that live around her that are usually regulars on poker night. This is a great group of people, tight and totally dedicated to each other. I am privileged to be part of the group. Down the road on Corkscrew about 2 miles from Heather's house is a little tiny house with a front porch on it and tables outside. This is the Country Store. It's owned by a friend of mine's Aunt and Uncle and they have had it for 16 years. It sits next to a landing strip and is the closest thing to a store for 10 miles. Here is where they held the biker rally. I guess this is the 8th year it's been there. There was a band stage and vendors and lots of bikers and leather bags. I ended up out there around 4pm and it was fantastic. The music was great and the smoked pork was even better. I really appreciate those guys inviting me to go with them.
