Edison & Ford Estates
The weather hasn't really been cooperating with my ability to take my parents to all of the fun spots I wanted to while they have been here but it hasn't kept us from going at all. We ventured out on Sunday to Nokomis Beach and Siesta Key while we were taking Morgan back to her dad. The wind was blowing 20mph and the temperature was 57 degrees. We really didn't get to enjoy the beaches at all, in fact it was a quick look and then back to the car to warm up. I can only hope that seeing the beaches will convince them to come back during warmer times so they can actually enjoy their beauty first hand.

Monday was a much better day. We decided to go to the Edison & Ford estates for the tour and then down to Marco Island to collect shells on the beach. My friend at work has been great at suggesting places for us to eat that are on the water with good food. At the end of our tour on Marco Island we went to Snook Inn for cocktails, good food and dolphin watching. Then we headed home so I could school mom in Rock Band! This day was one of our best days here together!
