Well I think I officially got my Holiday mood back. The kids flew in from Couer d'Alene Friday night. We had a chilly but excellent day at Busch Gardens without Morgan (hope she can go next time). Headed back to Fort Myers last night. Got up this morning and finished our grocery shopping. The tree is trimmed, the decorations are up, the ham is bought and the brittle is made! I am so grateful for everything this year and we are enjoying the nice weather despite the lack of snow!! Have to work 2 1/2 days then I am off till next year! Woo hoo! Sorry the pics turned out a little fuzzy but the important one is of Bryan learning how to make the famous peanut brittle. Of which is made from hand shelled raw Spanish peanuts because Florida clearly doesn't sell the already shelled ones!

Nothing like peanut brittle to get you in the mood for Christmas, it worked for me, too.
