As we were enjoying our family time at the beach yesterday looking for shark teeth and taking pictures we heard a faint sound in the distance. When we looked up we happened upon a...well take a look at the picture cause I am not sure I can describe it with justice.
He proceeds to plant what looks to be an olive branch in the sand and with his feet proceeds to make a large circle around it. Shortly there after people begin to show up almost like a tent revival but without the tent. They position their chairs on the outside of the circle and listen to him 'preach'. Talking about the circle and it's representation. About life and fellowship, all the while people are dancing around. For me though it was the girls with the hula hoops and the bongos playing. I cannot describe this experience with the creativity it deserves, but what would be an oddity back in Idaho is turning out to be the norm in Florida. This kind of craziness happens all the time around here.
Never a dull moment for sure, cause like going to a new beach looking for shark teeth wasn't enough we had to add the 'congregation' for good measure.
