No Snacks?!

"They don't have snack in Jr. High, Grandma!" Ady was powerful hungry when I picked her up from the bus stop yesterday, her first day back to school. She just about bowled me over on the way to the kitchen. So, after a quick meal of leftover grilled teryaki chicken, fresh tomatoes and cucumbers, she thought she would live. This is a whole new experience for our girl. She is so used to having Rylee at her side in everything she does. From here on out, they won't be in school together as Rylee is 3 years behind her. Different schedules now, different busses. Yep, that's right. Ady will have to remember to look for he bus stop instead of Rylee telling her when it's time to get off! Of course they gave her a locker that was way over her head. She had to stand to the side to even see the numbers on the lock. Fortunately, she got one of the boys with a bottom locker to trade with her. It's a good thing too, judging by the size of the book bag she brought home, I don' t think she could have lifted it over her head. I didn't get as much of a chance to talk with Rylee when she got home. She gets there quite a bit later. She did look awfully cute getting off the bus with her curled hair and her preppie school outfit with black high tops. Geez, those girls are fun. But anyway, they are glad to be back at school. Summer tends to get boring for them after too many weeks at home all day without the parental units. God bless the little buggars!

Such a deal, how did they get so old. They sure look preppy to say the least. Okay, Ady it is time to take responsibility or you may end up in the bus barn.
Love you girls.
