So the drama continues to unfold...
We were waiting most of the morning with baited breath for the approval to rent the house. We finally got a call at around noon. At that point Greg got on the phone to the power company to get electricity to the house as fast as possible so we didn't have to spend another dollar at this hotel. Not to mention we really don't like being homeless. The lady at the power company said they would do everything they possibly could to get it turned on by midnight. Well they did one better, we had power by 4pm which then allowed us to get the A/C on and lights. The house was cleaned when the old tennants moved out in December, so it was move-in ready. Brynn and I were on bug duty though as it hadn't been sprayed since then either. So after we sucked up about a dozen roaches and spiders we began to unload the truck. We also got lucky that our daily thunderstorms came in and cooled things down. So we are all unloaded and ready to spend all day tomorrow getting the big furniture put together and spend some time unpacking the necessities. Tomorrow night will be the first night in the new house and we are so excited!
AVENTURES EVERYDAY!
As we were waiting for Greg and Bryan to come back from the store Brynn and I watched this little fella cross our new driveway. "Hurry up little guy before the floods take you away!"
