Yesterday, May 6th, was our anniversary. And, although it was our 9 year anniversary, it was 10 years to the day Chet and I started our email courtship. I was delighted when I got home from work to find a beautiful bouquet of red roses, a more than adequate size dark chocolate bar (my favorite!) and this wonderful card from my husband...
We had dinner at the Copper Canyon in downtown Nampa. Filet and Lobster Tail with grilled vegetables, garlic mash potatoes, caesar salad and calamari for the appetizer. MMMM, I was overflowing with Yummy! We talked and laughed and professed our love for another nine years. It was very nice.
When we returned home, Chet had surprised me with the file he kept containing every email we had sent to each other during the time he was still living in Steamboat Springs, CO. (Some of you know our story and some of you will have to wait for the movie to come out. ) So we spent the rest of the evening reading our letters to each other. It was the first time either of us had read any of them since we were sending them. It was magnificent fun and emotionally renewing.
It was a fantastic evening. Thank you my love.
