That Time of Year Again!

Most of you know, Chet has been working his little fanny off all Spring and Summer trying to get the new patio finished. Here it is mid September and he is starting to see the light. The nights are cooler and the days are gorgeous without the sizzle of August heat. Today he is finishing up the piping for the gas connections to the bbq, fixing a couple of loose ends and cleaning everything up. I don't think anyone is happier than he is to see the end of this project. However, it won't really be the end. He still will finish the ceiling and paint it, and next season the tile goes down on the floor. He needs to finish the ceiling so he can set the hot tub back up, and boy does he need his hot tub after this!

So, as this project winds down, so winds down Summer, and in that we look forward to our second favorite time of year, Christmas! Mom has been bugging me to get started on the Christmas List, and so I have. Thank you Erica for being the first to respond with your list updates. You will all notice I have added the "Girls Dorm Family Christmas List" link back in the sidebar. Please everyone, take the time to update your lists and get them to me so I may make the changes. For me, the Holidays are the only thing that make Winter bearable. Let's make it another Stupendous Season!

For those of you who don't already know, Chet and I will be flying down to Tucson the day after Thanksgiving. Mom will pick us up and take us back to Green Valley for a visit, then we will head to Pat's for a couple days of Christmas shopping and visiting. After that we will all drive back to Nampa for Christmas baking and merrymaking! Bob will be flying in a couple of days before Christmas and then they will drive back to Green Valley together after the Holidays. Sounds like a party to me!
