Chet got the parts for the gas line, so he spent all day yesterday measuring twice and cutting and welding his little heart out. Gas piping is a specialty item, you have to use special pipe and fittings, then you have to weld the joints and then you have to wrap the entire pipe with special tape to keep it from rusting. From what Chet said, I think the worst part was wrapping. Anyway, he's pressure testing it and then he will bury it and call for the concrete installer! Yahoo! I am going to order the appliances for the built-in kitchen today. I'm sooo excited. Of course that will be the final stage and will be a ways down the road. That won't stop us from partying on the new patio though, oh no...

I'm sooo excited for the patio. I know it has been a long time coming and can't wait to initiate it.
