Whew!

Oh boy, what a busy weekend. Friday was shopping day for

• Wedding shoes
• Wedding presents
• Baby shower presents
• even ended up with some stocking stuffers

Saturday was Kylie and Kevin's wedding. The weather turned out to be tolerable. The wedding was outside and Ann and Brett's. The place was a bustle all day long. The wedding was fantastic, gorgeous, wonderful. Everyone Kylie and Kevin know pitched in a pulled it all together. Bravo! Everyone. We are all so happy for them! I did take some unofficial photos of the getting ready part, but some were not so great. I am sending them on the to happy couple.

Pat came up for the wedding and brought his quad. So, Sunday Chet and I took him up to the Owyhee's and we spent a fantastic day riding. The weather was perfect and the fall colors were fantastic. We had so much fun. Photos to follow.

Yesterday was spent visiting with Raka and Melissa and Erica and families. Kind of a kick back day for most of us. I had to run to the store for this weeks provisions so we all eat right. I managed to do pretty well over the 4 days, except maybe a few too many glasses of wine for the waistline.

Joe, Nicole and Waide drove back to Lake Tahoe and Sacramento yesterday. It sure was good to see them. It's been nice to have all these weddings lately and be able to see everyone at once. We still have a few more weddings in the plans, so more fun is to be had! Pat took off early yesterday morning. He had to get back to work, alas. Parting is such sweet sorrow. Glad he could come. Mike is due in tomorrow.

Today is Raka's baby shower. So the festivities are still going on! I will take my camera of course.
