Holiday season is upon us

Tuesday, October 09, 2007

Well the holiday season is sneaking up on us and it's time to start planning the festivities. I myself am looking forward to a glorious holiday season. Last year's was not so much fun, but I totally plan on making up for it this year. Because I don't have enough going on in my life I decided that I needed to take up knitting as well. So while grandma was still in town I hit her up on the basics of getting started and the lingo I needed. She was kind and patient enough to show me how to knit 1 row and purl 1 row. It's not always easy to teach someone how to do something and I appreciate her taking the time to humor me. I just want to let her know that I went home last night and practiced. I think I have got it (that much anyway)!

Look out 'Pink', you might just get replaced!

I am more than happy to help any of my girls any way I can. Next time you come over I will help you with the decreasing and adding on, then you can make anything. How about some new slippers :-)
