Campin' with the Parental Units

Melissa and Greg invited us to go camping with them this weekend. Them and all the grandkids. Well, Rylee stayed home with her mom, so it was Brian, Morgan, Brinn and Ady this time. We went up to Lake Fork campground at Lick Creek up by McCall. What a beautiful campground. Very quiet, not crowded at all (except for all of us). As you will see in the slideshow, the creek was a perfect place for kids and grownups alike to spend a hot weekend. Brian spent his time moving rocks around so to build his spa. The pool got pretty deep and was a wonderful place to cool off. There was plenty of eating, and hiking, and eating, and playing in the creek, and eating and napping, and did I mention eating? Mel and Greg did a great job of feeding us all weekend. I didn't even cook a thing except I did make tomatoe basil salad. Greg believes in a full farmer's breakfast every morning. I did my best to play the part of farmer. I didn't want him to get his feelings hurt. Geez, I love a good breakfast! I've just got to get back on my treadmill!! Carolyn brought lots of fruit and other stuff to go along with every meal too. Other than the nasty mosquitoes and biting horse flies, the weekend was perfect. Thanks to the kids for inviting us and to all for a pleasant visit. We hope to do it again soon. Love ya!
