NASCAR Party #2

What a perfect day for a get-together. Of course at our place, any day is a good day for it. Mom and Pat had rounded up the motorhomes at the Las Vegas Motorspeedway on Thursday and commenced their festivities. Not to be left out, we had our Shop NASCAR party #2. This time it was everyone, not just the guys. Everyone got to have their own party, big folks, middle folks and little folks. What a beautiful day! The little girls playing soccer, the young guys flying radio controlled stealth fighters and the rest of us eating a lot and laying around a lot. Oh yeah, some watching of the Daimler-Chrysler 400 did take place. Congratulations to Jimmie Johnson for winning again this year! The food was fantastic as usual. I tried a new recipe. I smoked a 5 lb. boneless pork shoulder roast then let it cook in the crock pot till it fell apart, mixed with a concoction of BBQ sauce and served it on hoagy buns with coleslaw. WOW! This is a keeper! Wendy brought "to die for" rye bread and dill dip and "better than sex" cake. YUM! And don't forget those fantastic meatballs Tiffanie made up. Plus meats and cheeses and homemade salsa. Need I go on? Ok, we had a great time. A few photos here. I just love my family and friends and love doing up a party for all. Till next time!
