I guess I was just having too much fun to stop and click.
What a fantastic day. Ady, Morgan and Rylee had spent the night at the grandma's, which is always fun. The sun was up and warming the playground equipment early, so the girls headed off to the school to play shortly after a breakfast of waffles and bananas. It's really nice this time of year to let them go over to the school as we can see them playing from our living room window, since there are no leaves on the trees to block our view. So they kept themselves occupied while their mother's and Greg brought groceries and proceeded to cook up mounds and mounds of calorie laden tailgate fare! After having won the cookbook at the previous day's Pampered Chef party at Kylie's, Melissa and Greg shopped and cooked several of the recipes at our house. WOW! Anytime you feel like trying something new, just give that girl a new cookbook and look out! It was fantastic! Sweet & Sour Meatballs, Shrimp Wonton Cups, Hot Crab Dip, 7 Layer Dip, Guacamole. I know I'm forgetting something. Also, Erica's Chili Cheese Dip and Meat & Cheese Tray. Plus fresh off the BBQ chorizos from Gem Pack (the only place to get them). So, you can imagine the sight after all that was served up. Overstuffed bodies lying everywhere on couches and floors to watch the ensuing kickoff. What a fun family! What I am especially enjoying is the next generation doing most of the cooking and cleaning up after! Thank you so much! I love you guys! The weather was so beautiful yesterday. Sunny and 60. Spring fever is certainly building. I sure hope everyone enjoyed the sunshine.
