The 50th Birthday Day Trip was a great adventure! What a great time we had. This is JD at Midway airport in Chicago, the first leg of our trip.

We were treated to the Broadway Show "Wicked" by Brock and Desiree. It was fantastic! We highly recommend it if anyone ever gets the chance. Also, they took us to a White Sox game versus Texas Rangers on Saturday. That was great fun. But I must say one of the highlights was Desiree's recent engagement and getting to go try on wedding gowns with her. She is going to be a gorgeous bride on the beach in Maui.

So on too Smithville, NJ the next leg of our trip. This is Linda's family, Jimmy, Kelsey and Robbie. Talk about a loving family. We just love them. The kids are so warm and friendly you could just hug them all day.

We had to go let Kelsey show us her stuff at her new restaurant job. The food was good and the service was great! Thanks Kels!

Outside Kelsey's place of employment, I believe this place was called "Old Smithville" or some such (brain dead).

Linda took us to the Ocean City boardwalk to get a taste of the NJ shore. It was overcast, but very nice.

We promptly had to feed our faces of course. I could have eaten all day, such fun foods.

We spent a week one day in New York.... what can I say. Been there done that! I'm glad we went, but. We did have a good time, went to see "Hot Feet" another Broadway play. It was really good. Stayed at the Edison overnight right near Times Square. We didn't have much time for sight seeing as we had much shopping to do!

Ya gotta shop when in "The City".

..another thing to do is get a new do.... Fab JD! We had a grand trip. I'm so glad I'm just about rested up from it! Love ya!
