I have been neglecting my pond lately. It sorely needs cleaning and thinning of the plants, but I couldn't help but be stunned by the hibiscus this year.

This hostas is a real beauty too. It sure has to compete with the ground cover which is taking over. I hope to remedy that this weekend.

They just keep getting bigger and better every year. I still can't believe I have both the pink and white hibiscus on the same plant. I don't think that is supposed to happen, hmmm...

We had a little bbq on Sunday with just the kids and kids. Mel brought the badmitten. It turned out to be just the ticket. I think Ady is going to be a contender....

.....oh yeah, I was taking pictures, that's why. It was a fun relaxing afternoon. As I've said before, I love my family :-)
