Well, we went to the open house last week, took Cookie Grandma with us. Boy what a madhouse, but we all survived. Looks like that school is going to be a lot of fun.
Today I took Ady for her first day of school. She's so shy and quiet, I worry about her. But I'm sure she'll be fine. One of the girls from Roosevelt is in her class, so at least she knows someone. My first impression of her teacher wasn't great, so hopefully this time first impressions don't count. They did build a couple more pieces of play ground equipment, so that's good. Hopefully it goes well!
I take Rylee into her class for an hour tomorrow, to get familiar. Then her first day is Thursday. She is sooooo excited, she can't even stand it.
Ady let me know she had a good day at school today. She made some new friends and got reunited with some old ones. She did say it was kind of boring because they didn't do any art, they just talked. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

Boy, chaos is mild compared to what open house at the new school was. Oh, and Erica forgot to mention the aroma. My My, I thought petouli oil went out in the 70's! I'm actually pretty excited for the girls to go to this new school. I hope it turns out the way we expect.
...and I love the new uniforms!
I get to take Rylee in for an hour today. That should be fun. And how could I forget the aroma ;-)
Petouli, are they trying to sedate the kids? Glad to see everyone is enjoying the first week of school!
