Busy, Busy, Busy

Boy I sure hate to see these blogs getting blogged down. It was great to hear from you, mom. Perhaps you could give us all one more update before you head back to LV and let us know what you're up to. We have been busy busy busy around here. We've been so busy, Chet and I have only managed to go riding twice this summer. Thank goodness Pat came to visit or we wouldn't have had that second ride. We all had such a nice time on that one. I'm really glad I got to do that with my dear old brother. It was great. I hope we do it again sometime.

Pat's been pretty busy here. Be tween riding, working on his vette and trying to please all of the people all of the time, I don't think he's getting much rest on this vacation. One thing's for sure, he's sure keeping Chet busy. I sure am glad to see that beauty of a car finally getting out of Pat's garage and getting some long awaited TLC. It's going to be great for Pat when it's all done. Plus, a good excuse for him to come back up here.

We didn't make it out to Firebird for the races last Friday. Little Red is sick again. Plus it was just way too blasted hot! The kids ended up all going swimming over at Mel's. I'm sure glad they had fun. Looks like the Melba Outlaws had another great race night though. We are now 500 points in the lead!! The next race is not until mid-September.

Melissa has been hosting birthday parties for all the little girls so they could all have pool parties. It's been great fun, but I know it's got to be totally exhausting for Mel. Especially while having to keep her home in order for all the looky-loos. Morgan's is this coming Saturday and should be the last one until we figure out what to do with Miss Rylee in September. We sure do Thank You Aunt Mo for all the great fun. We also thank Greg for all the effort he put into them and of course the wonderful smoothies!!!

So far it's been a wonderful and busy summer. We certainly waited long enough for it to get here, and now it's flying by!
