Sunny Day Easter

Thursday, March 24, 2005

Since Erica and her family will be in Las Vegas at Uncle Pat's this weekend, we decided to have Easter last weekend. It turns out that we had the best weather day for it then. This coming Sunday promises to be cold and rainy. As it was, we had to hide and find eggs in between storms. The girls (and adults) had a great time coloring 3 dozen eggs in various shades of the rainbow. Tell me, do you ever outgrow this? I think not. Then Greg and Steve were kind enough to play Peter Cottontail and hide the eggs for the anxious hunters, not once, but twice. It seems the hardest eggs to find were those in plain site (of course) and maybe just above a child's eye level. But not to worry, we're pretty sure they were all discovered, both times, we hope.....

I know most of you have seen the slideshow, but just in case you may click here to see it all over again! and make sure to notice the girls change into their new Easter dresses in the course of the egg hunts!

Happy Easter to all!
Love ya,
K
