Well, I did it. After careful consideration and much research and waffling on the matter of buying a laptop, I did it. I found a small company, Sager, which has been in business since1985 building outstanding laptops. I have been to many forums and find that this company has a great standing in the laptop community. They have great customer service and warranties. They happened to have a system on special which totally meets my needs. All of the name brands required me to update and customize their systems to my needs. This one came with everything I needed without customizing anything. I've had a small problem with it shutting down while using Windows Explorer and the internet while on the wi-fi home network. It did not happen while hard wired into the network, so I guess it's something I must work with to fix the problem. Other than that, it's perfect. I have already loaded almost 90 20mg background files onto the harddrive. This is one of the reasons I needed to upgrade my computers. I am so excited about being able to run Photoshop CS and Autocad 2004 which we have had for over a year and not been able to run on any of our machines. So, I will keep you updated!

How fun! Did you ever get it to stop shutting down? And did you ever get it to work on WiFi?
