Jumping the gun...

Tuesday, December 07, 2004

I'm starting to feel like a jerk now that I'm seeing everyones Christmas lists up here. I jumped the gun and went out and bought for the person I drew this year, and now that person isn't getting what they asked for. Of course, I thought I had a bright and brilliant idea for this person, but now I am feeling guilty and stressed. Hmmm, lets take a poll. Should I return what I bought and get them what they wanted? Should I give them what I bought and give them the option of returning it? Any ideas out there? I hate stressing at Christmas. Next year I'm not buying anything until Christmas Eve.

Christmas lists aren't there to put stress on you, they are supposed to take stress off of you. I for one am glad the rest finally got on the ball. I think you should do what makes you happy, Erica. If you bought the person something you thought would make them happy, then it probably will. The lists are just suggestions sweetie. Maybe what you bought would be on the list if that person had thought of it? Just keep the "spirit" of Christmas is all you have to do. Maybe next year all will get there lists up earlier, hm? Don't fret. Love ya, mom.
